I‘ve spent the better part of two decades inside big organisations. The kind with thousands of people, dozens of systems, and enough process documentation to fill a warehouse.
I’ve led operations teams, built commercial functions from scratch, and navigated the kind of complexity that makes your head spin. Global supply chains. Multi-million dollar tenders. Tech transformations. The lot.
And here’s what I’ve learned:
Most businesses don’t need a complete overhaul. They need the right tweaks in the right places.
Nine times out of ten, the business is actually running pretty well. The team’s good. The product’s solid. The customers are there.
But something’s grinding. Maybe quotes take too long. Maybe customer tickets fall through the cracks. Maybe everyone’s busy, but nobody’s quite sure if the right things are getting done.
That’s where I come in.
I find the one or two things that are slowing you down the most. The fundamental stuff. The blockers that, once you fix them, make everything else work better.
Then we fix those. Properly.
No 90-page strategy decks. No “transformation programmes” that take 18 months and leave you worse off. Just clear priorities, practical changes, and measurable results.
Once that’s working, we look at what’s next. And we keep going until you don’t need me anymore.
I started NourseMen because I kept seeing the same thing: good businesses, good people, stuck on problems that shouldn’t have been problems.
Founders who’d built something brilliant, but were drowning in operational noise. Teams who wanted to do great work, but couldn’t see past the daily firefighting.
The big consulting firms weren’t the answer. They’d charge a fortune, send in graduates with clipboards, and leave you with a deck that gathered dust.
I wanted to do it differently. Work directly with founders. Roll up my sleeves. Actually fix things.
That’s what this is.
If something won't work, I'll tell you. If there's a faster way, we'll take it. I don't pad projects or create dependencies.
I've implemented what I recommend. I know what breaks, what sticks, and what actually moves the needle.
My job is to make myself unnecessary. Build the systems, train your team, and get out of the way.
